Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Job Summary:
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will be responsible for providing direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses or physicians. Your main role will be to assess patient needs, implement care plans, and ensure the overall well-being of patients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Conducting patient assessments and developing individualized care plans
2. Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
3. Monitoring patient health and vital signs
4. Assisting with medical procedures and exams
5. Educating patients and families on healthcare practices
6. Documenting patient information and maintaining accurate records
7. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
8. Ensuring patient comfort and safety at all times
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Must be a licensed practical nurse (LPN) in the state of practice and BLS Required.
2. Degree or certification from an accredited nursing program
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
5. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
6. Basic computer skills for electronic health record keeping
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
